Rain on Guy Fawkes

Yesterday me and my sister were waiting for my dad to buy the fireworks. We went outside and saw heaps of fireworks. My dad came home and parked the truck and then it started to rain. Then my dad said we can't do our fireworks right now because it is raining. So I went to sleep.

Saving a killer whale!

One afternoon Hemi went down to the beach. When he saw a big rock on the sand he said, "This is not a rock at all. It's a baby killer whale! The whale's skin is dry. I need to put water on the whale's body." When Hemi got tired the tide came in and the whale was happy. He swam back into the ocean.

Telling an ancient story

Do you know why we have so many maunga or mountains in Auckland? It is because of an ancient fight!

Happy birthday Pisirina!

On Friday it was Pisirina's birthday. She got lots of presents from her friends and brought a delicious cake to share with everyone. Being 6 years old seems to be the most wonderful age!

My hippo!

One day I went to the zoo with my mum and dad and I saw a hippo. The hippo was eating grass and apples and carrots.
